When dealing with Gig Harbor real estate , the standard Nuclear Family is becoming a thing of the past. The level of non-family households have gone up slowly over the previous 70 years. Instead of buying houses in the suburbs, singles, single parents, young professional couples, baby boomers, and empty nesters are now buying homes in high-rise condo buildings.

Different residents are leaning towards high-rises for different reasons. The majority of the young, individuals need entertainment and culture, first-time buyers need affordability, and empty nesters seek a lifestyle change. This trend is hitting downtown communities all around the U.S..
