The majority of the time, purchasing a piece of Gig Harbor real estate is a peice of cake. You finish up with a fabulous house in the community you have always dreamed of. Unfortunately, it's sometimes too late when you learn that your neighbors are a problem.
Quarrels between neighbors often become extreme and might end in one party moving away. It is wise to shower a malicious neighbor with kindness; you have a greater chance an answer to your complaints.
Be sure you do your research on local codes and rules before you accuse a neighbor of violating any laws. That way, if they do not answer your requests, you can bring the city in.
A mediator can usually settle any disagreements and the courts and police should only be used as a last resort. You should be able to keep the peace with your neighbor if you maintain an open mind.
