Your cat or dog isn't simply another pet; it is a part of the family. Luckily, some agents wrapped up in Gig Harbor real estate are accepting this. Many times, a buyer will bring their pets with them to an agent's office and to all of the houses they view. A pet needs to be as comfortable in a new home as the family will.

In certain cases Gig Harbor real estate agents will go the distance to guarantee Fido has a secure place to call home. For example, one agent contacted a "invisible dog fence" company when a "real" fence wasn't permitted.

Many agents will at the very least include pet treats or a Petco gift card in a closing gift basket. Others give money to rescue shelters or sponsor animals in the name of past customers. Agents have become more pet-centric because some homeowners also own pets.
