Interior decorating has gone to dark from light. So many Gig Harbor homeowners are switching pale woods and bleached floors for shades of black, brown, and grey. From walls to appliances, several things are taking on a darker shade. To so many, these darker colors provide a pleasant ambiance and balance the stresses of daily life.

Like any fad, dark decor may one day seem dated. The pink bathtubs from the 60s and forest greens of the 80s certainly date a room. Nevertheless, your Gig Harbor home will be converted from ordinary to warm and cozy, if done correctly.
