The majority of college-educated people, ages 25-34, hold residing in a desirable location higher than employment opportunities, based on information from a new report. About 64 percent of respondents stated they would search for a job in a location where they would want to live while 36 percent stated that the location was a secondary thought when searching for work.

While searching for a suitable place to settle down, the overall quality of life is the most important factor. Being clean, attractive, safe, affordable, and welcoming are all included in quality of life. Demographics, sensible commute times, and good places to raise children are other factors in picking a place to live.

This new information could mean a boost to Gig Harbor real estate .
