Most of the time, purchasing a piece of Gig Harbor real estate is unproblematic. You end up with a great house in the community you have always dreamed of. Unfortunately, your don't realize that your neighbors are problematic until it is too late.

Quarrels between neighbors sometimes get extreme and might cause one party to move away. It is a good idea to shower a surly neighbor with kindness; you have a better chance an answer to your complaints.

If you worry they are breaking any laws, be sure you do your research to figure out exactly what the local codes and regulations are. You can get the city involved if they do not answer your requests.

The court and police should only be used as a last resort and a mediator can oftentimes settle any conflicts. By maintaining an open mind, you should be able to make friends with your neighbor.
