The majority of the time, buying a piece of Gig Harbor real estate is easy. You end up with a wonderful house in the area you have always dreamed of. Unfortunately, your don't find out that your neighbors are a problem until it is too late.

Neighborly conflict often get extreme and might cause one party to move away. It's a good idea to shower an unfriendly neighbor with kindness; you are more likely to recieve an answer to your complaints.

Be sure you do your research on local codes and regulations prior to accusing a neighbor of violating any laws. You can get the city involved if they don't answer your interests.

The court and police should only be considered as a last resource and a mediator can generally settle any conflicts. You should be able to get along with your neighbor if you have an open mind.

It is time to have a party or at least a get-together with your closest friends, now that you are settled into your Gig Harbor home . You are probably on a budget after moving and closing expenses. Luckily, casual is a popular motif.

Once you estimate how big your gathering will be, you can send out invitations. These can spread from special made invitations to ones printed out on a computer with nice paper. Be sure to have your guests RSVP. In the days prior to the party, your house needs to be prepared. Be certain toiletries in the bathroom are fully stocked and clean both the outside and the inside of your home.

You will want to stay away from a sit-down dinner if this is one of your first parties. A mixture of appetizers might be a good idea and be sure you have a few vegetarian options. If you are planning on serving alcohol, be sure your guests don't drink too much. You can name yourself as bartender. When your guests arrive, show them where where the food and restrooms are located and take their coats or purses. Mingle and make sure everyone is having a good time.

Practice makes perfect and after enough practice, your Gig Harbor home should be the talk of the town.
